Connecting An iPad To A Wi-Fi Hotspot Connection Does Not Always Work

In most situations Apple has made it as easy as possible to connect your iPad to a Wi-Fi hotspot connection. With a couple of clicks and a solid WiFi connection, you are connected to the internet within a matter of seconds. Many people, however, are reporting that the iPad does not consider every Wi-Fi hotspot connection a quality one, and the iPad appears to reject the connection.

An HTC Sensation Wi-Fi Hotspot Connection

For most people living in big cities in first world countries, this is a non-issue. However, for people who live in rural areas of the U.S. or less developed nations, oftentimes their only connection to the internet is through the Wi-Fi hotspot created by their smartphone. Many people have reported issues involving connecting their iPads to a Wi-Fi hotspot connection through an HTC Sensation phone.

Are Newer iPads Snobbish?

Many users are left wondering, if their new iPads turn their noses up at any smartphone generated Wi-Fi hotspot connection that is less than 4G. Owners of newer iPad models report that, when they create a Wi-Fi hotspot through an HTC Sensation using a 3G or less connection, their iPads appear to connect to the internet momentarily and then (as if in revolt) they disconnect. The iPad behaves almost like a child trying something he doesn’t like for the first time and spitting it out.

This inability to or desire not to connect to slightly slower smartphone created Wi-Fi hotspot connections has left many new iPad owners in parts of the world, where internet connections are scarce, wondering if they made a wise purchase or not.
